Bellaire Fourth of July Parade
St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church will be participating in the BELLAIRE JULY 4TH PARADE festivities. This will be held on Saturday July 3 at 9:00 am. Come join the fun and represent our Church in the community. We need as many of our congregation members as possible to walk in the parade.
If you would like to participate, you will need to arrive by 8:45 am at the Bellaire Triangle (the corner of Bellaire and Chimney Rock). The parade route is less than a mile. Please wear red, white, or blue. We will be carrying a Banner with our church name on it, carrying small flags, and throwing out candy to the spectators. This is a great way to make ourselves visible to the Bellaire community and be active participants in our community.
We encourage youth, adults, and children to participate. Any children in the parade will need to have a parent walk with them.
After the parade, there is a festival that lasts until 1:00 pm. We will set up a booth with church information for the public. We will need volunteers to sit at the booth (1 hour shifts) and answer questions the community may have about our church.
Please contact Sally Henin Awad to sign up to walk in the parade and/or to volunteer at the booth by Wednesday June 30.
